Facility Manager
About:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Facility Manager. In this role, you are responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of hospital facilities. This role ensures that buildings, systems, and grounds support high-quality patient care while meeting all regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards. The Facility Manager leads maintenance staff, manages vendors, and coordinates facility-related projects in a 24/7 healthcare environment.
Job Summary:
- Oversee the maintenance and optimal functioning of hospital buildings, utilities and infrastructure including, HVAC, lifts and fire protection equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and service disruption. Possess expertise in emergencies and disaster preparedness plans.
- Coordinate repairs, renovations, and minor construction works within the hospital.
- Lead renewal of SLAs with service provider for the maintenance of works.
- Prepare weekly and monthly facility maintenance report for management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of facilities management experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of building systems, safety codes, and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Proven leadership and staff management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
